Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis to perform Saturday, May 4, in Bartlesville
(BARTLESVILLE, OK) – Country western singer-songwriters Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis will perform at 8 p.m., Saturday, May 4, rain or shine at Osage Casino-Bartlesville. The concert is free for all ages. Guests should bring their own chairs.
Pam Tillis is well-known for her critically acclaimed 2002 album It’s All Relative, a tribute to her father, the American country music great Mel Tillis. Morgan has more than 25 hit singles with three number one hits: “Five Minutes,” “What Part of No” and “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength.” They are touring as part of the Grits and Glamour Tour 2013.
Both Morgan and Tillis were named “Female Vocalist of the Year” in the 1990s and both are members of the Grand Ole Opry. Tillis wrote and recorded “Five Minutes”, which became Lorrie Morgan’s first No. 1 in April 1990.

New Ponca City Osage Casino to Feature Expanded Gaming and a Full-Service Hotel
PONCA CITY – Osage Casinos is building a new casino, including the addition of a 48-room full-service hotel at the Ponca City location. The casino and hotel will be designed by Marnell Companies, an architectural firm known for its work on The Bellagio and Rio casinos in Las Vegas.
“We are thrilled about the new offerings this casino will feature for our guests,” Osage Casino CEO Neil Cornelius said. “Teaming up with Marnell Companies and Osage Manhattan Builders ensures Osage Casino-Ponca City will bring the finest in casino design to Ponca City.”
Osage Casino – Ponca City opened New Year’s Eve 2007 and currently encompasses 6,000 square feet and features 220 electronic games. The new casino and hotel is projected to be 89,817 square feet with space for more than 450 electronic games. The new facilities will be built next to the existing casino.
In addition to new electronic games, Osage Casino – Ponca City will offer six table games, a restaurant and bar. The new casino will feature a totally redesigned interior with bright lights and colorful decor. New signage, landscaping, and a stone exterior are also included in the plans.
Osage Casino – Ponca City General Manager Jennifer Swords says the new casino and hotel have the ability to create more local jobs and be an economic boost for Ponca City and the surrounding areas.
“This establishment will be a great addition for the local business community,” Swords said. “The hotel will be one of the finest in the area, creating great opportunities for local employee retreats and business functions.”
The hotel will feature a multi-purpose event center that can be separated into three rooms. The planned 5,500-square-foot space will be available for businesses, private parties and conferences.
In addition, the hotel will include a fitness center, lounge, outdoor pool, spa and a convenience store. Construction is expected to be completed by fall 2013.

New Skiatook Osage Casino to Feature Expanded Gaming and a Full-Service Hotel
SKIATOOK, Okla. (September 26, 2012) –Osage Casinos will build a new casino in Skiatook, including the addition of a 33-room full-service hotel and conference center. The project is scheduled to break ground in the fall of 2012.
“We are thrilled about the amenities this casino will be able to offer our guests,” Osage Casino CEO Neil Cornelius said. “With this new construction partnership between Marnell Companies and Osage Manhattan Builders, we are sure that Osage Casino – Skiatook will continue to bring the finest in gaming, entertainment and hospitality to the Skiatook community.”
At completion, Osage Casino – Skiatook will offer 78,000 square feet of gaming space, a restaurant, sports bar and hotel accommodations. The project will include 300 games and six table games and is scheduled to be completed Fall 2013.
The 33-room, three-story hotel will include 31 standard rooms and two suites, fitness center, swimming pool, breakfast dining area, meeting room and convention space. The hotel lobby will include a grab-and-go counter and small bar with direct access to the casino floor and restaurants.
The restaurant in the new casino will feature a casual dining experience that will seat up to 60 patrons.
“The dining options and amenities included in the renovation will allow us to offer a wide variety of fine options for our guest, Osage Casino – Skiatook General Manager Edward Gray said. “Whether people are looking for a nice sit-down meal or are just wanting to have a drink and watch the games, we will be able to provide a fun, yet comfortable environment for our guests.”
The casino will also include a sports bar venue which allows guests to view multiple HD televisions from every seat in the house. In addition to playing all major sporting events throughout the year, the sports bar will be a premier spot for music and live entertainment.
The project also includes a newly designed convenience store that will accommodate both seasonal and lake traffic.
“This establishment will offer great opportunity for economic growth in the Skiatook area” Cornelius said. “We hope that this casino will attract other businesses to build nearby soon.”
