High-Five Poker is a new Stud Poker game where you play head-to-head against the dealer, but can also bet on the value of your own hand. You receive seven cards on the deal and make your best five-card hand out of the seven cards. Bonus payouts may be attained for certain hands when wagering on the value of your own hand.
Trips
Trips is an optional bet where you can wager on the value of your hand. If your hand contains Three-of-a-Kind or better, you win!
Ante
You must make an ANTE wager in order to play. The ANTE bet plays against the dealer’s hand. It’s just your cards against the dealer’s. If you like your hand, you must place an equal wager on the PLAY spot. It’s your best five-card Poker hand against the dealer’s best five-card Poker hand.
The dealer must have a pair of 6’s or better to qualify. If the dealer doesn’t qualify you automatically win your ANTE bet and push on the PLAY bet, unless you have a straight or better, then you win BOTH bets. If the dealer qualifies and you beat the dealer’s hand, you win both the ANTE and PLAY bets.
To Play Both
It’s you and your cards for trips or better. It’s you and the dealer for the best five-card Poker hand. You must also make the PLAY wager or you forfeit the ANTE wager.
Don’t Forget the Joker
High-Five Poker is played with a 52-card deck plus one Joker. The Joker may be used as an “Ace” or to complete a Straight or Flush.
